I've been looking at my last Xanga post over and over and I realized that I'm quite proud of some of the pictures I've taken but it also makes me kind of sad that a. I'm not doing much outside of home (and the streets of HH while driving) anymore. b. I don't have a better camera.

I'm showing some of these pictures to my friends and they're like ehh this one's blurry...this one could be better with a vignette...blahblahblah all that technical stuff.  what sucks is that the camera I'm currently using is getting WORSE.  I guess I didn't care for it very well, dropping it in the sands of Omaha Beach and whatnot.  It makes a funny noise when it turns on now and most importantly, it doesn't focus.  I was taking simple still photos to post on eBay and in daylight, the freaking thing wouldn't focus from any distance or with a tripod substitute.

ok some updates...my grandmother passed away the morning after I visited her for the last time which was on Father's Day, I realized that funerals are weird and don't act as fitting tributes to deceased persons (why is there a viewing?), I'm sad that MJ is gone, I can NOT believe that Billy Mays passed, I've been driving on those 40mph streets, and I've been sleeping/ waking up at odd times of the day (9AM - 4AM), and then some.

I suck at speaking and I can't do anything about it.
High ISO may make pictures grainy but that's better than having a pic washed out by light.  IDIOTS.

Still, public schools really DO need funding.
I need to wear jeans less often (because I don't have enough to last me more than a week).

UTC HAS AN AMAZING MAGAZINE RACK.  So do most Barnes & Noble bookstores.
eBay is wonderful.  So is Goodwill.
I miss volunteering.

I miss saying random Mandarin phrases at school (not many Mandarin speakers here).
People tend to hang out with "their own kind".  Koreans with Koreans, Christians with Christians, Korean Christians with Korean Christians...
People need to be more understanding.
Buddhism is a really interesting religion with beliefs I can never adhere to.
I don't really take pictures of myself or my friends.  I think I should...we're 18!  Primetime of our lives, baby.
People need to be more aware of how their actions affect the environment. *COUGHCOUGHTOTHEEX-ROOMIE* Reuse and recycle, people!
Anything has the potential to be considered art, which is most unfortunate.

P.S. Click made me cry SO MUCH.  It got really bad reviews but I think they were mainly bad because the movie mixed in sappy drama with fartsy comedy.  Lucky for me, I can appreciate both!  Damn critics. Wish they could, too!  And who the heck is Kate Beckinsale?  she's supa hot, I mean pretty. xD
